The story behind the dragonfly started when my finance and I were having our first morning coffee together in the state of Michigan where he resides. For me, that was my first morning coffee in Michigan...you see we had been having a long distance relationship with me in Oregon and him in Michigan, got engaged in San Francisco, and we actually met in Paris...but that is a whole other story for another time.

As we sat there holding hands and taking in the beautiful reality that we were actually together and were going to wed in just seven days, a black and white dragonfly flew between us and landed on the bush by our feet. We commented on how cool it looked, but as it stayed there for approximately 10 or minutes, I truly felt it was as a message.

I asked Doug if he knew what the dragonfly symbolized. Doug had his phone and did a search and most all of the information shared that the dragonfly symbolizes change, ability and transformation, specifically change in perspective and a shift toward self realization. The spiritual meaning is a message that you are on the right path and you should continue what you are doing because positive transformation and opportunity is coming.

Hearing all this made this seemingly simple experience such a profound metaphor for everything I was experiencing in my life at that moment. Never had so many wonderful, even magical manifestations taken place in my life at one time. Yet I knew that without the full openness of Doug and I to allow all this massive change, we would never have been engaged within less than four months of reconnecting after our meeting in Paris.

It was an aha moment for me because I knew the dragonfly needed to be part of my logo for Infinite Life Possibilities. And then, when I visualized the infinity symbols as wings...I couldn’t wait for it to be created!!!
